Fadojoe, Labour Party Presidential Aspirant, Laments State of Nigeria in 64th Independence Day Message

In a somber 64th Independence Day message, Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, expressed disappointment and concern over the current state of Nigeria. As a Labour Party presidential aspirant and leader of the Rescue Movement for New Nigeria, Fadojoe highlighted the stark contrast between Nigeria’s past greatness and its present struggles.

Nigeria, once renowned for its agriculture, cocoa, and abundant food, has lost its unity and sense of security. Citizens no longer feel safe, even in their own homes, due to rampant insecurity. The country’s currency, once on par with global powers, now ranks among the worst.

He criticized the government’s failure to address pressing issues, citing the collapse of education, industry, and economy. He noted that Nigeria’s sports prowess has also dwindled, and its oil refineries lie idle amidst fuel hikes.

“For the first time, it’s as if we are not celebrating anything, even on our independence date,” Fadojoe said. He noted that Nigeria was once renowned for its agriculture, cocoa, and abundant food, but now struggles with insecurity, economic decline, and collapsed infrastructure.

The former Presidential aspirant criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, stating, “President Tinubu promised renewed hope, but it has been renewed hunger, renewed insecurity, and renewed crashing of the economy.” He urged the president to address the masses’ suffering.

Fadojoe emphasized the need for change through the power of the ballot. “I know that things cannot continue this way. I know that the masses will take their country back… and Nigeria will be great again!”

He attributed these problems to poor leadership and called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to address the suffering masses. He urged Nigerians to recognize that the current situation cannot persist and emphasized the need for change through the power of the ballot.
