Two kidnapped Kogi State University Of Technology Students killed
Two among Kidnapped students of the Kogi State University of Technology, Osara, have been allegedly killed by their abductors.
The lifeless bodies who were found on the road, through a trending video were said to be murdered living their lifeless bodies on the road.
The state government and Police, are yet to issue an official statement, but a non Governmental Organization known as Education for All (E4A), in its press statement condemned the gruesome murder of the innocent students, despite ongoing negotiations with the parents of the children, saying the murder is the height of callousness by the kidnappers.
The state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kinsley Fanwo could not be reached despite message and calls put to him.
The NGO in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Nasir Ibrahim, said the intent of the kidnappers was to scare young people from going to school.
“It is sad that the criminals killed two of the students who were not among the 21 rescued through the operation coordinated by the Kogi State Government, though the circumstances of their kidnap were said to be traced to a forest in Kwara State by security agencies.
It would be recalled that, several Students from CUSTEC, were abducted by unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits.
However, 21 of the students were so far been rescued by the coordinated efforts of the state government and Security agencies.
