Netizens Mourn As Skit Maker Dies While Filming Video Content
A Nigerian skit maker identified as Churchill has reportedly died while filming a stunt for his video content.
A viral video of the incident shared online on Thursday (today) captures the moment when Churchill jumped in an attempt to touch a basketball net.
In the video, which has now gone viral, Churchhill could be seen dropping his phone on the ground before proceeding to jump and touch the basketball net.
He fell with his head hitting the ground and is reported to have died in the process.
However, eyewitnesses at the basketball court tried to resuscitate him but to no avail.
He was reportedly rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A source said that Churchill was her schoolmate at Nasarawa State University, adding that the skit maker was bedridden after the incident.
“He was bedridden with a neck collar. But couldn’t survive due to internal injury,” she claimed.
She also told our correspondent that Churchill died last Sunday.
Friends of the late skit maker and Netizens have continued to mourn him on the online platform X.
