Violent Protest In Ede Over Adeleke’s Death
Youths and supporters of Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke have been protesting the death of their benefactor.
The youths are burning tires and shooting into the air at Aisu junction, the entry point to Adeleke’s country home.
The protesters have gone wild and vandalizing vehicles at every entry point to Ede, it was learnt.
CityMirrorNews noted that Akoda, Sekona, Aisu and Oke Gada are the flashpoint of the violence.
Commuters were being harassed by the protesters. The commuters were forced to park their vehicles.
To avoid being disturbed, some of the commuters hurriedly attached leaves to their vehicles to indicate that they are sympathizing with the Ede community.
