Major Shakeup in OSBC, Six Directors, Deputies, Others Demoted

Major shakeup occurred at the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) during the week as the management of the establishment restructured the working system for effectiveness and efficiency.

The shakeup ended up with demotion of six Directors and Deputy Directors.
Some of the demoted directors are: Mrs Abimbola Babatunde, News and Current Affairs, Radio, Mrs Grace Akinwale, Administration, Sola Ajiboye, News and Current Affairs, TV, (transferred to Reality Radio Vision Service, Iwo), among others.
The directors were demoted to deputy directors while the deputies were demoted to Assistant Directors.
Mrs Jumoke Akinjiola who was a Deputy Director was promoted to Director of News and Current Affairs for both Radio and TV.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the restructuring was done to improve service delivery by staff of the corporation.
The medium learnt that once a staff member reached the position of Deputy Director, he or she stops working diligently on the claim that he or she has attained higher status in the service.
Majority of the affected workers are supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
