6 Killed, 10 Injured In Alleged Fulani Herdsmen Attacks In Plateau

No fewer than 6 people were killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Josho Village, Daffo Chiefdom of Bokkos Local Government Area and Rikwe Chongu village, Miango District of Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau state.
CityMirrorNews gathered that about 10 people were also injured in the attack with several houses burnt in the villages.
The Wednesday attack on Dasho Village in Daffo District in Bokkos was said to be a result of a misunderstanding between a Fulani and native youth who were working at a block-making site.
There was also a reported attack on Tashek, Jop Village in the often troubled Riyom Local Government Area of the state.
Meanwhile, Plateau State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Matthias Terna admitted the attack on Josho Village and put the death figure at three. He also confirmed that one person has been arrested in connection with the attack.
Normalcy has since returned to the community as leaders of Ron and Fulani communities are meeting to bring peace to the area.
