Osun 2018: Morakinyo Charges Electorate To Vote For PDP Candidate

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former commissioner for Finance in the Old Oyo State, Chief Abiola Morakinyo on Thursday charged people of the state to cast their votes for the party gubernatorial candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke in the Saturday election.

Chief Morakinyo who made the call while speaking with newsmen on the governorship election in the state in his country home, Gbongan, described Adeleke as the only outstanding candidate among other contenders in the state.

According to him, ” Adeleke has the political charisma and all what it takes to govern the state. He is a tested and trusted politicians with difference and wheherhis political enemies like it or not, he will emerge as the state governor by the special grace of God.”

” I also want to challenge his bravery and valiantry to be able to withstand all sentiments and propagandas put against him, this is one of good leadership s a good leader should possess. I want to charge him to be more determined till he ends the rigours and vigours trailing his victory at the poll on Saturday.”

He however charged the electorate to monitor their votes so as not to allow the APC led government in the state, tampered with their votes.

The party Chieftain who has been working assiduously to see to the emergence of Adeleke as the state governor in his senatorial district, uncovered plans of some APC members plan to perpetrate electoral fraud in some local governments of the state.

He however called on the security agencies to be vigilant and act fast to prevent electoral fraud and other malpractices that might have want to scuttle the electioneering processes.

The notable politician who was also a gubernatorial candidate of the party some years back, promised not to relent till he sees to Adeleke’s victory and commended the leaders of the party under the leadership of Hon. Soji Adagunodo to ensure his victory at the poll.
