Osun Guber: Youth Group Pledges Supports For Oyetola

Less than  24 hours to the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election to elect flag bearer for the forthcoming  gubernatorial election slated for  September 22, in Osun state, scores of youth within the ruling party have declared their supports for one of the leading aspirant, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.

The youth,  under the aegis of Ilerioluwa Youth Council stormed the campaign office of Oyetola in their hundreds to officially declared their support for his candidacy, citing his outstanding socio-political strength, which according to them stands him out among other aspirants.  

The leader  of the group, Comrade Olateju Ishola, in his address said the decision to support Oyetola was borne out of the profound conviction about his political savvy and managerial acumen .

Olateju  opined that Oyetola,  going by his wealth of experience  in all ramifications and satisfactory social exposure would appropriately match the developmental drive of the incumbent governor,  Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola without blemish. 

Olateju, however expressed absolute confidence in the ability of the party to conduct free, fair and credible primary election added that  Oyetola’s candidacy remains a leading light in the path to electoral success, as he urged members of the party to support him to victory.  

Commending the National leadership of APC led by Comrade Adams Oshiomole for adopting Direct Primary to pick the party flag bearer, Olateju said the party distinct procedure, regulations and modus operandi  will surely bring about victory in the gubernatorial election.

He, thereafter presented about 5000 stickers to the campaign office of Ilerioluwa,  as part of the group’s contribution to the Oyetola’s course, promising that the group would flag off its campaign for Oyetola on Monday. 

In his reactions,  Oyetola commended the group for their unalloyed supports, saying he was ready to continue with the good legacy of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, if eventually emerged governor.
