‘I will Return Governance To The Grassroot If Elected’, Says APC House Of Reps Candidate, Oluga

The Candidate of th‎e All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ayedaade/Irewole and Isokan Federal Constituency in the 2019 general elections, Hon. Taiwo Oluga has pledged to return governance to the grassroot if elected.

She said her coming to politics was to serve humanity and champion the people’s needs by runing all inclusive government.

The former Special Adviser to the Governor on Culture and Tourism, assured her constituents of good governance, vowing to legislate on things that will bring succour to all.

Oluga made the pledge on Saturday while addressing people during the solidarity/endurance trek called at the instance of the progressive youths of Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area.

The trek was aimed to solidarize with Oluga and all the candidates of the APC in Osun West Senatorial District.

Ikire, the headquarters of Irewole Federal Constituency stoodstill for hours as people trooped out enmass to welcome Oluga and her entourage.

The 12km trek which commenced from
Naira and Kobo area through Ita-merin, Jolaya; Oke-Adaa, Ori-Eru; Oke-Awo; Ayedaade, Oja-Ale, Holy Cross was terminated at Sango.

Addressing the mammoth crowd at Sango, the terninal point of the trek excercise, Oluga expressed optimism in her ability to come victorious at the poll.

She attributed her winning changes to her achievements while serving as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Culture and Tourism under the administration of Rauf Aregbesola- the immediate past Governor of the state.

Oluga reiterated her commitment to strengthen democracy and democratic tenets in her constituency by sponsoring bills that will make life meaningful and abundant for the people.

He said,”We shall together run an all-inclusive government with special attention on the improved accessibility to governance; girl child right, care for the aged people and care for the people living with disabilities

‎”Youth and women empowerment; vocational training for the youths and young adults will be taken as priorities.

“Our market men and women w‎ould be encouraged by boosting their business capacity and coverage areas.

“We will provide wider and more reliable source for our traders to maximize their profit and resources as our artisans will be given new technological training to be better established.

“We shall also work hard to significantly reduce the number of out-of-school children in our constituencies, by placing core values on education through constituency projects that will encourage elementary education that is targeted at giving these children a bright and rewarding future.

“Many of these I have been working on in my capacity as the Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism to immediate past Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

“So, you can be rest assured that when I am given this greater opportunity to serve and represent your interest at the National Assembly, I will not disappoint you”.
