PDP Zonal Rally: We Are On A Rescue Mission In Nigeria – Secondus

The National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) , Prince Uche Secondus, has said that the party will not succum to intimidation ahead of 2019 general election.

Secondus , who made the remarks at the PDP South-West Zonal rally on Saturday in Osogobo, said that the party was on a rescue mission to take power from All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ekiti, Osun and at the Federal level.

The PDP Chairman said that members of the party would work harder to win the 2019 general election , adding that the masses were tired of APC led administration.

“PDP will win the forthcoming governorship election in Osun, Ekiti and the general election in 2019.

“APC should start packing their loads because they cannot win again.

” And ahead of the election, we will not succumb to any form of intimidation because we are on a mission to rescue the nation” Secondus said.

Also speaking, Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, urged the party members to be united ahead of 2019 election.

Abubakar said that the party would do everything possible to rescue power from APC-led Federal Governement in 2019.

A Former governor of Jigawa, Alhaji Sule Lamido said members of the party must be prepared ahead of 2019 general election.

Lamido said, ” I know you and you know me, let prepare for 2019 general elections.

Also, Gov. Ayo Fayose of Ekiti, said the party was adequately prepared for Ekiti, Osun and 2019 general elections.

Fayose said that the party would give a good fight during the general elections.

Speaking, one of the decampees, Alhaji Fatai Diekola said that he and his political allies decided to leave the ruling APC due to the ‘devilish policy’ of the party.

Diekola who said he was one of the machineries used to bring Governor Aregbesola and the APC to power also vowed to ‘send him back to Lagos’

Other members of the party in their various speeches said that PDP was prepared to take back power at the centre.
