Japan 2020: Ibrahim Olaitan Wins Another Bronze Medal Female 67KG Powerlifting
Ibrahim Olaitan just won another bronze medal in the female 67kg category of the powerlifting event.
Recall that Olaitan had during an interview with CityMirrorNews vowed to to make Nigeria proud in the
the Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan,that just kicked off.
Olaitan, an indigene of Osun State who is a first time Olympics participant has been in various world championships and presently world number 2.
She is one of the athletes to represent Nigeria at the para-powerlifting event.
On her arrival to Tokyo while speaking to CityMirrorNews in Japan ahead of the competition, Olaitan said her target is to win a gold medal for Nigeria
“I am excited to be among this wonderful team, it’s a great feelings to represent my darling country. My focus is gold and I pray that God gives me the power to win gold for my dear Country Nigeria.”
“I promise to make my country proud” Olaitan concluded.
