SWAN Bestows Gold Award of Excellence On Osun SUBEB, Lauds Its Sports Development And Innovations

The Osun State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) under the leadership of Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole got another morale booster on Saturday 10th of February, 2019 at the annual Merit Award of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Osun State chapter as Osun SUBEB was conferred with “Meritorious Gold Award of Excellence in School Sports Development and Innovations.

The award which was signed and presented by the chairman of Osun SWAN, Mr. Adeyemi Abodunrin was received with sense of fulfillment by the staff of SUBEB including its leadership.

While commenting on the award on behalf of the staff of the Board, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole described the award as a testimony to the various support, motivations and interventions which Osun SUBEB has invested on the the pupils and also the provision of enabling environment for the pupils to engage in various sporting activities.

The Osun SUBEB Boss however thanked Osun Sports Writers Association for finding the board worthy enough to be awarded just as he said that the award is a wake up call for the Board to build on the existing structure for better performance in years to come.
