The Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye has called on the people of the state particularly sons and daughters of Ijeshaland to support the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola to succeed for the good of all.

Owoeye urged the people to pray and support the Oyetola administration to succeed , saying the progress of the state should be the concern of all.

He made the appeal yesterday in Ilesha while on a courtesy call on the paramount ruler of Ijeshaland, Oba (Dr.) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran.

CityMirrorNews reports that the visit was to thank the monarch and the entire Ijeshaland for their support towards his emergence as the number three citizen of the state.

The speaker while addressing hundreds of his supporters, who came to welcome him at the palace hinged the successes recorded by the immediate past Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on God and support enjoyed from the people, urging to them to replicate the same gesture for Governor Oyetola to have a successful tenure as well.

Owoeye equally thanked all the leaders, chieftains and members of APC in Ijeshaland for their valued support and efforts towards his emergence.

He assured the Owa Obokun of Ijeshland that he would work closely with Governor Gboyega Oyetola to put an end to the rising level of insecurity in the state while reeling out efforts by the Governor to make the State a safe haven for all and sundry.

Oba (Dr.) Gabriel Aromolaran took time to pray for the new Speaker and wished him a successful tenure in office.

The Monarch in his admonition urged Speaker Owoeye and Governor Oyetola to make the welfare of the people a priority.
