National Federal Commissioner
Representing Osun State Senator, Mudashiru Husain has congratulated all muslims in Nigeria and all over the world for Eid-el-kabir Festival.

The Commissioner urged them to praticalise what they have learnt from God and do away from evil activities.

Senator Husain therefore called for understanding between Muslims and other Religions bodies in the country in order to avoid confusion.

He also remarked that conflict with each other would have negative impact in the country.

In a message signed by Hon, Mudashiru Husain and circulated in Osogbo yesterday he contended that meditation, prayers and personal sacrifice is a test of endurance and commitment to the faith

“Those who have scaled the mountain successfully have emerged in the spirit of renewal for a peaceful and rewarding life not only for themselves but also for the community in which they live.

“This is our expectation from our Muslim brothers and sisters in the state of Osun and Nigeria as a whole Husain declared.

According to him “We congratulate you on the high sacrifice and concentrating on spiritual values, which society needs to cope with the terrible challenges confronting us in the country today.

“As we celebrate this Eid-el-kabir success, let us keep in mind the peace that Islam promotes, and become true ambassadors of the faith and example of its Creed.

“Osun deserves as much of these as it can get, not only from our Muslim brothers but also from those of other faith. Our state is peaceful and should remain peaceful.

“It is also our expectation that as a result of Eid-el kabir harmonious co-existence between the people of Osun will be enhanced for the continued progress of the state.

“May the goodwill and blessings of Eid-el kabir be bestowed on our people and country” Husain declared.

The Federal Commissioner commended Governor of Osun State Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has he approved free train ride for its citizens living in Lagos, to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-kabir (Ileya) celebration.

The gesture he remarked is in continuation of its practice during festive periods.

It would be recalled that the government said those travelling from towns on the route between Lagos State and Osun State would also benefit from the free trips Since assumption of office about eight months ago, the administration of Governor Oyetola has been providing free train services during festive periods to meet the needs of the people of the state who might not be able to afford the cost of transportation during festive periods.
