LG Chairman Celebrates End Of The Year Party With Council Staff

Joys and happiness fill the faces of council staff at Irewole North East LCDA as Executive Chairman Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi celebrates end of the year party with them at the council secretariat Wasinmi Ikire amidst fun and fare.

The events has in attendance President Nulge Osun state, Comrade Jacob Adeyeye, Vice chairman Irewole North East LCDA Honourable Arimiyau, Scribe to the LCDA, Mr Jelili Oyetoro and council manager Mrs Felicia Olabintan.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Jacob Adeyeye appreciates the chairman’s utmost priority for staff welfare and for creating a symbiotic environment within the council area as he did not come over to settle dispute between the organs of the government but rather to celebrate with them which is a testament to the goodwill of the chairman, Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi to the staff.

However, he lamented about the lackadaisical attitude some staff display towards government works unlike what plays out in private sector thus he urge them to be punctual at work as it is the soul of business and also admonish them to be up to their various tasks within the council diligently.

In his words at the occasion, Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi appreciates the staff for their commitment to the growth of the LCDA being the first executive chairman thus the pacesetters.

He described them as the pillar upon which his administration thrives while he however urge the truant among them to be punctual at work and also contribute their quota to the system as it will also smoothens their relationship.

He concluded by urging the council staff to see more to internal generated revenue(IGR) as it will afford them the financial capacity to embark on various developmental projects across board.

The climax of the events was when the chairman laid the foundation for Irewole North East chapter Nulge Hall building and also donated a sum of one million naira to start work on it much to the ecstatic staff delight.
