As part of the build up for the launching of South West Agenda slated for February 23,2021 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the voluntary group being led by  the former minister of state for works, Senator Dayo Adeyeye paid a courtesy visit on the former governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

In the team were Sen. Obadara,Sen Adesoji AKanbi,Sen Anthony  Adeniyi and Hon Bosun OLadele. As you will recall, South west agenda for 2023 was first launched in the capital city of the region,Ibadan, Oyo state and subsequently in Osogbo,Osun state.

In what looks like  serious determination to ensure they succeed in making their principal to throw in his hat in the ring to vie for the presidency come 2023, Sen Adeyeye reemphazized the fact that they are a voluntary group working to ensure Yoruba as a kingdom work in unity to present a common  and  good  candidate in other to stand a better chance. Hence, the team humbly recommends Asiwaju bola Ahmed Tinubu who is eminently qualified to lead the nation at this time.

According to him ,this is not to say there are no other qualified citizens of the region but JAGABAN stands out.
While reacting,The former governor of Ogun state had this to say..” I am so impressed by the calibre of people in this team of SWAGA and by my own understanding SWAGA means everything good and anything backed with plenty of energies it deserves. This swaga you have brought appeared to be what has come to re-awaken south west politics,I am highly impressed. “He said.

Otunba Gbenga Daniel also described the principal Sen. Bola Tinuba as a politician who has gotten the pass mark needed and he is very good for the position. He is a swagalistic personality that would be good for this nation. According to the former governor, Yoruba are not known for violence but rather they pursue their agenda in the most appropriate manner and that with this swagalistic idea, success is ours.He concluded. Also in the team were Hon Rotimi Makinde,Hon Oyetunde Ojo,Hon Oloruntoba Oke,Mr Kola Peregrino,Mrs Kafilat Ogbara and Hon Ishiaq Akinlade,Otunba Yomi Ogunusi,Hon Ifedayo Abegunde,Hon Odubote,Rt Hon Suraj Adekunbi,Hon Julius Olaro and others
