[OPINION]2023 Presidential Election: The Deceit, Arrogance Of Peter Obi & Datti Baba-Ahmed In Misleading Their Gullible Followers By Adeboye Adebayo

It is crystal clear that Peter Obi lost woefully in the last presidential election and will never become President of Nigeria come May 29th, 2023, going by the popular mandate given to Bola Ahmed Tinubu & Kashim Shettima by the vast majority of Nigerian electors on 25th February, 2023.

In their own election collations, they lost, on the IRev portal, they lost, on the social media collation, they lost, on the INEC final declaration, they lost.

Peter Obi, having capitalised on the anger of some young Nigerians who were protesting against the excesses of some elements in the Nigerian Police which led to what is called Endsars self-deceitfuly thought he has a movement in place to win an election in Nigeria.

According to the dictionary, a Movement is a group of people who share the same ideas. What is the idea of Obi and his gullible followers, where do they meet to plan the implementation of their ideology. A movement is beyond camping in a hotel and be making meaningless noise on the social media space or trying to gather some foreign residents who do not understand the nitty gritty of Nigeria’s situation and telling stories about what is happening in Bangladesh or China.

Peter Obi & Datti Baba-Ahmed just incidentally took advantage of few Nigerians who do not know their right from their left and turn it to a movement without something ideal or ideological they stand for. No strategic planning except noise making on the social media, No campaign fact except Bangladesh and China, No consideration for unity except dangerous ethnic card and religious bigotry, how do you expect to win election with all those fallacious variables in a very diverse country like Nigeria.

Despite their woeful loss, Datti Baba-Ahmed who knows he does not have electoral value is arrogantly talking about rigging, rigging, where?

He talks arrogantly on Channels TV calling on outgoing administration not to swear in the next administration, calling on the military to take over government. He talks arrogantly in the media calling the Senate President an irresponsible element. The look on his face is always like a hungry thief whose meat was snatched away while eating. He is frustrated, we thank our stars that this frustrated hungry and deceitful vote seekers did not gather enough votes or spread to have been declared winner by INEC, we would have handed over a prosperous Nigeria in making with great potentialities to a set of power hungry, wicked fools to take us years back.

Presidency of a country is beyond those characters, characters that cannot stand by election results because it is clearly not in their favour, characters that are inciting gullible followers with deceitful contents from campaign period till date, characters that are praying court to render my vote and OVER 8,000,000 other votes useless because the President-elect Bola Tinubu didn’t get 25% of votes in Abuja as if Abuja votes are superior to my vote and the votes of other Nigerian electors.

Peter Obi is in the court at one time challenging the process and not the outcome, at another, he is in court to challenge the rigging of the election without any proof whatsoever, just noise, at another time, he is in court, to claim a dreamt stolen mandate which vast majority of Nigerians never surrendered to him and now, he is in court to challenge the eligibility of the President-Elect to contest election which God ordained Bola Tinubu has been declared winner, the eligibility that very many courts in the land had concluded a number of time and again.

It is obvious that Peter Obi and his running mate are desperate and greatly confused, they don’t even know the best way to remain relevant in the scheme of things rather than using a section of the media to continue their noise pollution to arrogantly deceive their gullible followers and sympathisers.

Peter Obi, Datti Baba-Ahmed, Labour party and their deceitful, gullible followers should desist from polluting the peaceful air of our dear country and face their fruitless and confused petitions in the court because there are laws they are grossly violating.

They should be educated that the arm of the law is long enough to catch up with them and they should above all, be remembered that they are not above Nigeria laws.
