Breaking: Pandemonium In Osogbo As Correctional Vehicle Hit Minibus, 2 Injured

There was a pandemonium in Osogbo, Osun state capital, on Thursday morning
, as a van conveying prisoners to court hit an intracity minibus popularly called Korope.
Findings showed that the correctional van attempted to maneuver and bit the traffic light when it rammed into the minibus and hit it.
It was gathered that the driver of the minibus and a woman who was said to have been going to her place work, sustained various degree of injuries.
It was gathered that driver and other passenger were rushed to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, for medical attention.
The situation caused pandemonium as sympathizers majority who were commercial motorcyclists and intercity bus drivers accused the operative of the correctional center of driving against the traffic.
Our correspondent who followed the minibus drivers to the court observed that leaders of the union of minibus drivers stormed the state high court, Okefia, but they were prevented from entering the gate.
However, the aggrieved youths barricaded the popular Olaiya under bridge where the incident happened and prevented the free flow of the traffics for about one hour before they were being dispersed by the police who shot canisters at the protesting youths.
