Why I’m Vying For Orolu LG Chairmanship Position-Olagoke

A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ifon-Osun, Timothy Ojelakin Olagoke, has declared his intention to contest for the Orolu Local Government Chairmanship position.

Olagoke said he would used his wealth of experience as a grassroot politician to bring monumental development to the council area by complimenting Governor Ademola Adeleke’s efforts to take the state to an enviable state.

He stated this while addressing some youths in the community who came to pay him a courtesy visit in his Ifon town, yesterday.

Olagoke who was the former PDP local Secretary and Coordinator of “Adeleke for Governor 2018” said he decided to vie for the Orolu Local Government Chairmanship position following the calls by the people of the council.

He promised to do everything within his reach to bring unprecedented development to the council area.

He proceeded to Ifon-Erin Secondary High School in his home town 1981/1986

He didn’t relent but moved forward to higher Institution Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, where he studied Philosophy/ Psychology he graduated in 1998

Timothy Ojelakin is a dedicated Christian of St. John Anglican Church Ifon Osun, the foremost church that celebrated her hundred years of existence at present location, This Christian denomination nominated Hon. Timothy Ojelakin as church secretary for many years and later elected as People’s Warden / Treasurer the position he is till date.

When it comes to experience, Timo has what it takes. For a dozen years now, he has control the party activities. A two term secretary of the party coupled with the secretary of the caretaker committee. No doubt TIMO needs to forge ahead in the issue of governance to add more feather to his portfolio.
Timo over the years have remain committed in the party and will give all it takes if given opportunity as the council boss but will it be this time?
