The Campaign train of the Governor of Osun State Alh. Gboyega Oyetola will on Tuesday 28th of June, 2022 birth in the state capital with visits to Osogbo and Olorunda local governments area.
A statement signed on behalf of the Directorate of Media and Communication of the Campaign Council by Oluomo Sunday Akere said the visit to the two foremost local governments will coincide with the planned defection of over ten thousand (10,000) former members of the opposition PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governor will meet all the royal fathers in the two local governments at the palace of Ataoja of Osogbo where he will pay traditional homage to the First class ruler, other royal fathers, Baales and Iyalodes.
The Governor and his team will then move to the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park to address artisans, market women and men, members of ethnic nationalities and the general public on what his administration has achieved in the past three and half years and what he intend doing during his second term in office. At the same place, he will receive over ten thousand (10,000) members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who have through conviction of performance and delivery of dividends of democracy accepted Alh. Gboyega Oyetola as the person to take Osun to the promised land.
