Tayo Ogunjide Eyes NBA Chair, Promises A Truly Responsive And Totally Inclusive Bar

Immediate past Publicity Secretary and a former Chairman, Young Lawyers’ Forum, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Gwagwalada Branch, Emmanuel Tayo Ogunjide, Esq, fondly called “ETO”, has picked his nomination form to contest for the Chairmanship of NBA Gwagwalada Branch (Eagle Bar).

Addressing his teeming supporters numbering over thirty lawyers of the branch who joined him during the event at the Branch Secretariat located at High Court of FCT, Gwagwalada, Abuja, ETO harped on creating ‘Truly Responsive and Totally Inclusive bar (TRATIB)’ which is the fulcrum of his campaign.

Presenting his manifestoes formulated from acronym “CHAIRMAN” to the members, he listed his core agenda to include; Continuity of Excellence, Holistic and Pragmatic Grooming of Young Lawyers, Access to Career Development Opportunities, Improved Welfare and Empowerment of all Members, Rebranding of the Branch Secretariat, Member-Centric Leadership, Appreciation and Application of Digitalization, and Networking along Institutional Environment.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of TRATIB Campaign organization, Mr Albert Igah remarked that one of the fundamental features nobody can compete with about ETO is that of his competency and accessibility.

According to the Director-General of TRATIB campaign organization, Godday Owobu, Esq (Atiku), ETO is a colossus and you cannot talk of the Branch without his name featuring frequently.

Immediately after obtaining the interest form, the Team TRATIB moved in convoy to pay homage to a distinguished Bar Elder and a living legal legend, Alhaji I. G. Haruna’s in his house. The Team also used the opportunity to seek Alhaji IG Haruna’s blessings and nomination of ETO for the Chairmanship of NBA Gwagwalada.

Other members of the group include Clever Owoh – Director of Protocol; Sir Tobi Nwabueze – Director of Mobilization; and Mr. Dauda Ajadosu, Deputy Chairman (West) among others.

The election will hold in the next two months and the coast is clear for the Eagle Bar to soar high and better.
