Osun LG Poll: Prince Kehinde Emerges Winner Of APC Primary In Ife-North West

Prince Oyeniyi Kehinde has emerged winner of the APC primary election in Ife North West Local Council Administration ahead of the October Local Government Election in Osun State.

In the keenly contested primary election, Prince Kehinde Oyeniyi scored a total 740 to defeat his closest contender Hon Kemi Okedairo who scored 280.

Announcing the results of the Primary at the Collation Center in Edunabon, the Osun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, who also doubled as the Chairman of the Electoral panel, Hon Yemi Lawal said the process was free,fair and credible.

Hon Lawal commended members of the APC for freely exercising their franchise and the returning officers for doing a thorough job.

“I commend members of our party for demonstrating commitment towards deepening democracy in our party, which invariably implies our commitment to building Democracy at the grassroots level,which is very crucial to development.”

The results of the election which was shown to all people present was jointly signed by the APC chairman in Ife North West LCDA, Mr.Ojesola Akinwale, APC Chairman for Edunabon ward 1A, Mr Dele Oyeniran, Chairman Edunabon ward 1B Mr.Julius Egbeniyi, Chairman Edunabon ward 2 Mr. Michael Odewusi, Chairman Moro ward A .Mr.Emmanuel Ojeleye, Chairman Moro ward B. 6.Baale Busade Adeagbo

After the primary, the APC candidate for the local Government Election Ife North West Local Council Development Area, Prince Kehinde Oyeniyi thanked members of the APC for the overwhelming support, while appealing to his opponent to work together with him ahead of the election come October.

“I thank our people who have overwhelmingly given their mandate to me to flag our party’s flag in the election. I plead with my sister to let’s work together ahead if the election. We are all winners of the process. This victory belongs to God and to the people of our LCDA”.

“The major task ahead of us is the election. Please, let us go back to our various units and wards to ensure that APC wins the October Local Government Election”.
