Eid-el-Kabir: Adelabu Felicitates With Muslims, Urges Residents To vote For Gov Oyetola On Saturday

The Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Honourable Adegboyega Lateef Adelabu, has congratulated Muslim faithful in the state on this year Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Adelabu in his Eid-el-Kabir message to Muslim Ummah in Osun urged them to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and sacrifices among one another so as to be living peacefully among themselves.

This is contained in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun state capital, on Saturday.

He urged the Muslim faithful to emulate the Prophet Ibraheem (ASW) by imbibing the ideals of sacrifice exemplified by him just as he charged people of the country to renew and be focused on their hope for a greater country.

The SA Youth and Sports, also used the festive period to appeal to the residents of Osun, especially youths to eschew anything capable of causing crisis before, during and after the gubernatorial election billed to hold on July 16.

He, however enjoined the people not to deviate from supporting the incumbent Governor whom he said had done tremendously well in the area of human and Infrastructural development.

He said the only way to sustain the tempo of good Governance in the state and for the residents of the state to continue to enjoy dividend of democracy was for each and everyone of them to troop out massively come July 16 and cast their votes for Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

“All we are asking God is to bring peace to us, in this festive period, we should love ourselves and live in oneness of God.

“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to our people especially youths to eschew anything capable of causing crisis in the state. They should conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the gubernatorial election.

“They should please come out en masses and cast their votes for Governor Gboyega Oyetola who he has been performing tremendously well since his assumption in the office.”
