Man O’ War to INEC: We’ve Well Trained Personnel To Partner With You To Conduct Free, Fair, Credible Election
The Ondo State Command of the
Man O’ War Nigeria, has reiterated to partner with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the area of sensitization, educating and give public awareness on Electoral Laws and Process ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Ondo Commander of the paramilitary organization, Adedayo Adeniyan, disclosed this on Tuesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Ondo State Resident Commissioner of the INEC; Amb. (Dr) Rufus Oloruntoyin Akeju in his office in Akure.
According to him, the visit was to compliment the good works of the resident commissioner since his resumption in the state in the aspect of Youth and Communal partnership, Public awareness and sensitization on Electoral process.
Adeniyan, however, stated that Man O’ War have well trained personnel in the country to carry out all aforementioned exercises at when due.
But in his response, the REC, Amb. Akeju, urged the personnel who are 18yrs and above to register for PVC in order for them to be able to perform their civic duties during the forthcoming election.
Akeju further stated that the Commission would partner with Man O’ War Nigeria in the state to maintain peace and orderliness during the electioneering process.
The INEC boss, who also spoke on their readiness towards the forthcoming 2023 general elections said the commission would be impartial and transparent to conduct a free, fair and credible election.
