Odo-Otin South LCDA Council Boss Charges Workers On Commitment To Duty

The Caretaker Chairman, Odo-Otin South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Inisa, Hon Ayodele Wasiu Adepoju, has called on workers of the council to be consistent, regular and punctual in their work with a view to discharging their duties as laid down in regulations guiding their work.

According to a statement by the Information officer of the council, Olumide Felix, and made available to CityMirrorNews, in Osogbo, Hon Ayodele Wasiu Adepoju, the council chairman gave the charge at the premises of the council during a weekly prayer organized by NULGE EXCO of the council.

Speaking after the prayer which was directed by NULGE Vice Chairman Com. Olusola Okunlola, the council Chairman noted that workers are the engine room of any administration, he said that it would be difficult for any government to succeed without the cooperation and commitment of workers.

He further noted that once they do their works diligently, reward would come, admonishing them to always be up and doing in discharging their duties.

Emphasizing the need for workers to be punctual and diligent in the course of discharging their duties, Hon Adepoju said “Punctuality is the soul of business”.

The Chairman said: “Punctuality is important because it makes us disciplined and give us chance to become successful in life.

“I want to urge you all to be coming to the office regularly and perform our daily responsibly as staff.

“As a matter of fact, very soon reward will be given to any worker who is dedicated and punctual to his/her work.

He, thereafter, vowed to renovate the offices and the environment to make it conducive for the workers.

Earlier, in his welcome address, the Council Manager, Com Kehinde Adediran, who echoed the similar views saying there was the need for all staff to always be punctual and dedicated to their duties.
