Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun has felicitated President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari on his 77th birthday anniversary, describing him as a valuable asset to the country.
Oyetola in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, said he joined family, friends, associates and other well-meaning Nigerians to celebrate the former Minister of External Affairs.
The Governor who described Prof. Gambari as an erudite scholar, technocrat, seasoned diplomat and distinguished administrator, said “we are inspired by your numerous contributions and outstanding accomplishments in leadership, diplomacy, academics and governance, both at national and international levels. You are indeed a man of many parts and a valuable asset to our country.
“I commend your dedication to professionalism, excellence and strong commitment to public service. Your contributions to the President Buhari-led Administration’s efforts at building a better and prosperous Nigeria, are noticeable and commendable.
“We are proud of your accomplishments in different spheres of life and hope to continue to draw from your vast knowledge and wealth of experience.
“On this occasion of your birthday, we pray to Allah to grant you a longer life, good health and strength in service to our dear nation and humanity,” Oyetola added.
