Sallah: OSCOTECH Alumni President, Olaniyan Felicitates Muslims, Urges Prayers To Tackle Insecurity

The National President of National Alumni Association of Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke, known as OSCOTECH Alumni, ESV Prince Adenle Olaniyan has joined other well wishers to congratulate Muslim faithful across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Olaniyan in a Sallah message signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Tuesday, implored the Muslim brothers and sisters to always allow their lives to reflect charity and selflessness, which are the core values and lessons epitomised by the season.

He admonished the faithful and Nigerians at large to always embrace the spirit of love for fellow humans and uphold friendliness, religious tolerance and total obedience to God, as exemplified by Prophet Ibraheem who was prepared to sacrifice his son as instructed by the Almighty Allah.

Olaniyan urged the Muslim faithful to continue praying for the peace of Nigeria.

He however, used the opportunity to advised members of the OSCOTECH alumni both home and in the diaspora to always observe COVID-19 Protocols so as to be able to curtain the third wave of pandemic.

“I want to join other well wishers to congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters as they join other faithful in Nigeria and across the world to celebrate another Eid-el-Kabir.

“As our Muslim brothers, sisters and friends celebrate this year’s Eid-el- Kabir, I admonish them to continue to live in peace and harmony with themselves and adherents of other faiths.

“I also want to urge them to always remember in their prayers the growth of our association, prosperity of our state Osun and sustainable peace in our dear country Nigeria, especially in a critical moment of national insecurity and global pandemic like this,” he said.

“However, they should always observe COVID-19 Protocols so as to be able to contain the pandemic now that many countries have been experiencing third wave of the dreaded virus.”
