Osun: Gunmen Invade APC TOP Meeting As Residents Scamper For Safety

Residents of Gbodofon Area, Osogbo, Osun State were on Thursday thrown into panic when unknown Gunmen invaded Oranmiyan house and shot sporadically during the weekly meeting of The Osun Progressives.
Oranmiyan is the venue of the weekly meeting of the factional group of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), The Osun Progressives (TOP).
The gunmen suspected to be political thugs were said to have invaded the office while TOP weekly meeting was still going on.
Our correspondent who was at the scene said all members of TOP started scampering for safety.
The hoodlums CityMirrorNews gathered were seeing shooting for over five minutes.
The hoodlums came in black sienna bus and headed towards Ogo-Oluwa after perpetrating the act.
CityMirrorNews gathered that no casualty was recorded.
The Osun Progressives is the group loyal to the Minister of Interior and Former Governor of the State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Speaking during a press conference, the Chairman of TOP, Elder Adebiyi Adelowo, called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali to wade into APC internal crisis in order to avoid unnecessary attacks.
