Youth Assembly Decorates Oyetola’s Aide, Aremo As Patron

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Osun state, Honourable Adegboyega Adelabu Aremo has been decorated as the Patron of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter.

CityMirrorNews reports that the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) is focused on galvanizing Nigerian youth across the country and harnessing youths potential towards National development and good citizenship.

Akande Daniel Oluwaseun, the Speaker, Youth Assembly of Nigeria said the appointment was based on the recognition and concern of the SA Youths And Sports towards youths emancipation in Osun State.

Oluwaseun maintained that Aremo has demonstrated commitment to all matters relating to youths in the state and he is beacon of hope for today’s young generation of Nigerians

The Speaker described Aremo’s appointment as Patron as putting round peg in a round hole.

He said: “We observed his concern towards youth emancipation which is in line with our objective as Youth body.

Speaking, Aremo who appreciated the youth body for counting him worthy promised to continue to work for the advancement of youths in the state.

The SA Youths And Sports attributed the success the ministry has recorded to the good intention of the governor of the state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola towards the youths development, saying Governor Oyetola is very passionate about youths development and their well being.

He noted that the governor doesn’t joke with issue that has to do with youths in the state.

“In line with your objectives, Osun State Government under the leadership of our amiable Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been promoting patriotism, youth participation, good governance and responsible citizenship among other others,” Aremo said.

While urging the youths to be good ambassadors of the country, Aremo enjoined them to shun any act capable of tarnishing their images.

According to the SA, “I really appreciate you for counting me worthy. I am one of the advocates of youths development in Osun state and Nigeria as well. I’m so passionate about youths development and I don’t joke with anything that can bring development to the youths.

“As I promise to continue to support the youths and working towards ensuring they all attain their goals, I will also like to appeal to you to be good ambassadors of this country as well as the state and you should always desist from anything capable of tarnishing your image and that of your parents.”
