Ajegunle Community Commends Oyetola Over Flyover, Intracity Road Projects In Osun

Ajegunle Community in Osogbo, Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun has commended Governor Gboyega Oyetola over his plans to construct a Flyover at Olaiya junction.

This is even, as they declared their support behind the second term ambition of the Governror saying Oyetola has done remarkably well.

Chairman of Ajegunle Tradesmen and Artisans, Alhaji Azeez Kamorudeen Adesina stated this while fielding questions from journalists in Osogbo.

Adesina who expressed joy over the proposed Flyover project said if the project is completely done it would add aesthetics to Olaiya area of the State capital.

He commended the idea of the flyover, adding that the various road crashes recorded at the intersection have been a source of concern for the people of the state.

He said: “The flyover will in no small measure cater for the traffic congetion that usually happen around that intersection. The Flyover would as a matter of fact prevent the frequency road accident because there
been several accidents around there over the years.

Describing Governor Oyetola as a silent achiever, Adesina praised the governor for approving the construction of over 22 township roads across the state.

He however appealed to the governor and other government officials on the need to be patronising them at Ajegunle lamenting that most of the officials of the state government do to travel down to Lagos and Ibadan whenever they want to buy spare parts.

Speaking on the dreaded coronavirus, the Chairman said the association has put measures in place to ensure that none of their members and their customers do not Contract COVID-19.

He said since the outbreak of the disease, due to their proactivenes none of their members have not contracted the virus.

He said: “We are more than 5000 here at Ajegunle and since the outbreak of the virus none of our members have reportedly contracted the disease. We make sure we all abide by the NCDC laid down rules and regulations.

“We have mandated it for our people on the need to always put on their face masks just as we compelled them to always keep to the social distancing order. We secure water, liquid soap and hand sanitizers in each of the shot here. We make sure we wash our hands time to time and we ensure that our costumers do the same.”

He however, urged the people of the state to always observe social distancing , using sanitizers and all other COVID-19 Safeguards.
