Ibadan Borokinni Worldwide Forum (IBWF) Receives CAC Certificate

The Ibadan Borokinni Worldwide Forum (IBWF) was recently registered and obtained the certificate of registration by the Corporate Affairs Commission as a non-profit and non-political socio-cultural Association to promote the development of Ibadanland.

The Forum is an initiative of the 2019 -2021 Finance and General Purpose Committee (F&GP of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) the global umbrella of all Socio-Cultural and non-partisan of all Ibadan Clubs globally, in its determination to secure relevance for the current generation of Ibadan Indigenes in the scheme of things in Nigeria.

The Forum’s objectives among others include to encourage participation in Ibadan affairs and collective responsibility for her progress to all qualified indigenes; to establish and support, strengthen and empower the CCII on its developmental, restructuring, mass mobilization, policy advocacy and information dissemination programmes as regards the legacy that the current generation of Ibadan indigenes must live by and leave behind.

Other are: To ensure that progressive minds in Ibadanland earn the trust and appreciation of the people in their endeavours to secure a better future for all the indigenes; to take responsibility for restoration of the past pacesetting glory, power, strength, and unity of Ibadanland in politics, tradition, culture and economy within record.

The Forum has presence throughout the country, Europe, America and Canada.
It would be recalled that the IBFW was formally admitted as a constituent member into Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes at a general Assembly meeting of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, in 2020.

The pioneer executive members of the Forum are: AIG Fatai Oladipuop (Rtd) – President; Major Gen. Abdullahi Muraina (Rtd) – Treasurer; Alhaji Abiola Alli – General Secretary; and Asiwaju Olasunkade Azeez as Public Relations Officer.
