CityMirrorNews reports that the Governor of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola has approved the composition of the Board of Governors of the school in December 31, 2020 and he has resumed office since January 4, 2021.

Exchanging views on the state of Public Secondary Grammar Schools in Osun State, the board Chairman lamented the spate of dilapidated buildings and other infrastructures in the school and sought to improve on them to further make it more conducive for learning.

He also called on the parents, alumni and other well-meaning individuals to join hands in raising the structural and learning standard of the students.

According to the Chairman, Alhaji Lawal said “Ansaru-Deen Society Grammar School is the only Muslim Secondary School in Ile-Ife, so the welfare and standard of the school must be prioritized in terms of infrastructures and other essential materials to aid conducive atmosphere and efficient learning for our children”.

“That is the reason why we are calling on all well-meaning individuals to join hand with us to guarantee a better future for our children” he said.

He maintained that posterity will not forget useful contributions of all the people to safeguard the future of the students as any culprit caught shall be made to face the full wrath of law

“This is our al-mamata, we cannot fold our arms while the students of the school or the school itself are lagging behind in terms of standard, security and needed infrastructures*, he said.
