Speaking at the event, the Oluwo of Iwo, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, commended the initiator of the competition, emphasising that science is the future and students, and indeed, the black race, must wake up to the reality.

Oba Akanbi who was however, not satisfied with the overall performance of the students, charged them to focus on their education and ensure improved performance in future events.

“I’m not impressed by your performance because I’m sure that you have been taught most of the questions put forward by the organisers and you must improve to reciprocate the investment of Engr Adedapo on you,” he said.

Oba Akanbi charged participants in the quiz competition and students who are in the audience to give serious focus to their education so that they can become useful to themselves and the society in the future, praying for great innovators like Jeff Bezos, Zuckerberg and others to rise through this intervention.
