Osun Chief Whip Congratulates Engr Olusola Akinwumi On His Birthday

The former Secretary to Osun state government and the current Chairman of Oodua Investment Company, Engr Olusola Akinwumi has been described as a consistent and incorruptible politician who set a genuine tone of progressive politics in Osun.

In a message of congratulations on his birthday, the Chief Whip of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Olatunji said the former Secretary to the state government remains one of the respected Osun elder statemen who have remain true to their conviction of service to the people.

He stated further that Engr Akinwumi laid a solid foundation for political administration in the state as the secretary to the state government upon the nation’s return to Democratic rule in 1999, under the leadership of the iconic Chief Bisi Akande.

The legislator also maintained that upon he nomination of Chief Akinwumi to the Board of the Oodu Investment, he proved his worth in the area of economic competence, earning him the position of the Board Chairman.

Hon Olatunji added, ” Our state has tremendously benefited from his wealth of experience in stabilising the polity.”

The legislator who represents Ife North Constituency expressed the conviction that Chief Akinwumi still has much to offer the state and the South West region in general, as he pray God to grant him long life and good to be more impactful.
