Speaking on the theme; engineering and technology for economic sustainability, he encouraged the students to embrace innovations as a way of looking into the nation’s problems and proffer engineering and technological solutions to them.

“I call upon the students to personally develop themselves in the area of creativity, innovation and passion instead of internet fraud and corruption.

“By the time you become start ups and proffer solutions to the myriads of problems besetting the country, you are sure to get backings from government agencies such as Bank of Industry.

“As a student I dedicated my time for social, service and paramilitary activities but I was also studious.

KLM also stated that as a former member representing Odo-Otin State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly between 2003 and 2007, he was instrumental in bringing technological innovations to his constituency.

“As a lawmaker, I was the Chairman of the Committee of Public Works and Transport.

“I developed ICT in my constituency and also empowered many youths”.

He explained that as a member of the Osun State House of Assembly, he invested his time and allowance on personally developing himself.

“I believe in action and personal development so as to be sustainable and it was this innovation that caught attention of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the immediate past governor of the State of Osun and the incumbent governor, Mr. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola who is today my direct boss.

“When I was appointed as a Senior Special Assistant in Engineering and Technical Matters, I was so busy developing people.

“My aim is to be a great entrepreneur whose impact would be felt across all the local government areas of the state and Nigeria as a whole”.

KLM noted that in Osun, Governor Gboyega Oyetola has hit the ground rolling with the many laudable projects he has embarked on.
