Aare Gani Adams Buries Father, Says Late Dad An Epitome Of Humility

Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland land, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, has described his late father, Pa Lamidi Adams, as a man of humble character.

In a statement he signed personally on behalf of the family to announce the final burial ceremony of their Patriarch, Adams said he is fulfilled that he had the best of trainings from his late father.

“I am happy that I share alot of good memories with my father and part of the lessons I learnt from him is to be humble. And I think that is a great legacy. Though, he died at 80, my father was a complete family man that believed in building a strong family ties. He was a disciplinarian and he can do anything to make us happy,”he said.

Part of activities lined up for the final burial ceremony of the late Pa Adams, according to the statement, begins on Thurday March 28, with the elders’ traditional party tagged: “Esinsin Ko Bale,”.

Meanwhile, On Friday, March 29,there will be a special Jumat Prayer and service for the deceased at Arigidi Akoko, Central Mosque.

Saturday, March 30 is for the grand reception, as Aare Gani Adams, will host families, friends, Royal fathers and prominent guests from across the country, at Saint James Primary School, Arigidi Akoko, Ondo state.

The family will also hold a special christian thanksgiving service at Saint Paul Anglican Church.

The late Pa Lamidi Adams died on Saturday, September 15 2018, and he is survived by the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, and other children.
