The Founder and Spiritual Head of Shafaudeen In Islam Worldwide,Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP has advocated a good governance that would promote inclusive society in the country.
Professor Olagoke made the call in Ibadan during the Ramadan message delivered at the Corporate Headquarters of Shafaudeen In Islam at Wakajaye in the state capital.
Olagoke who is also the President of Ajagun Esin Consultative Forum (AECF) said “Nigeria deserves a good governance that will promote inclusive society where matter concerning women and people with disabilities are equally respected and given attention”.
Stressing that the swearing in of governments at all levels during Ramadan was spiritually symbolic, the renowned leader charged the new governments at all levels to pay particular attention to the welfare of the masses.
“They are expected to provide relief to the masses through adequate amenities ,functional infrastructure and other indices to generate employment ,peace and development for a well secured society without friction ,he pleaded.
Olagoke was optimistic that the new government which began during Ramadan is “expected to be fruitful and functional enough to correct the mistakes of the past governments”.
He reminded the Islamic adherents that “Ramadan provides enabling environment of God’s mercy, forgiveness and inspirational energy for adherents for us to transform for good culture from fraud and acts of indiscipline.”
Olagoke reminded the President to appoint into his patriotic Nigerians who are committed to “Nigeria projects” and not corrupt elements whose ambition is to loot the country and put the masses in perpetual penury.
The religious leader appealed to the Presidency to seriously address the problem of insecurity which has dented the image of the country globally adding that it cannot be correct to say that all is well with stories of kidnappings other problems facing Nigeria.
