Osun Governorship Rerun: Ondo ADC Chieftain Reacts, Charges Voters To Stand By Their Vote

Surveyor Gbenga Fapohunda, a chieftain of African Democratic Congress (ADC), in Ondo state says the just concluded Osun state governorship election is a sign that Nigerians have resolved to reject impunity and money inducement by any political parties in order to give mandate to the person of their choice in the 2019 general elections.

Fapohunda while reacting to Osun governorship election results and the upcoming rerun exercise, he said “there would be a shift and change because its very obvious the money politic that we normally practising in our country is not much around but between now and Thursday we will see what will happen by the results ADC will get”.

He stated this in Akure while declaring his intention to contest in the House of Representatives Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency in the forthcoming general elections under the platform of ADC.

Fapohunda said the reason why he is contesting under the platform of ADC was, “ADC is a new party not old party in new bottle with people of integrity and is a credible alternative political party in Nigeria that can only move Nigeria forward”.

He maintained that he has the optimistic to win the House of Representatives seat because according to him “am going there to serve not to play or make money and our service is very much paramount to the good people of my constituency”.

Fapohunda however advised the electorates not to sell their vote and they should stand by their vote in the forthcoming general elections saying that “one man, one vote, there should be no manipulation, there should be no ballot snatching”.
