I Can Never Defect From APC, Osun APC Women Leader

The state women leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state, Alhaja Kudirat Fakokunde has debunked the rumour making the round
that she has defected from the ruling party to another party, describing it as as fallacious, mirage, satanic.

Fakokunde who said the imformation is the handiwork of enemies of progress in the state said it is far from the reality, adding that, there is no iota of truth in the information.

The APC women leader in a statement she personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, in Osogbo, the state capital, said the onus of prove is rumour mongers responsibilities.

Fakokunde made it known that she remains a very committed and unrepentant member of the All Progressives Congress and cannot do anything to can hinder the progress and success of the party.

According to her, ” there is no way for me and my name to be included in the defectors list and there is no cause for me to decamp from the party that made me what I am today, as the state women leader for almost eight years now”.

“Since decision of the party is supreme, and that decision has been made known, I am very ready to work and support the candidature of Alh Gboyega Oyetola. Ogbeni Aregbesola has done a lot and I will continue supporting him and his policies as well as the state chairman of the Osun Apc, Prince Gboyega Famoodun, the state Secretary , Alh Rasak Salinsile for taking the party, APC to the greater height.

Fakokunde therefore enjoined all her fans and lovers as well as party members, supporters and sympathizers to start working assiduously by canvassing for more supporters for Osun APC to convincingly win the September 22 gubernatorial election.

“She said further, ” I can not in any way go against the wish of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and i have never dreamt of defection and as a matter of fact, defection and any act of anti party activities are not in my political dictionary”.

She eulogized the governor of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for changing the whole state to a brand new state in terms of unprecedented developmental projects experienced in all nooks and crannies of Osun as well as the leadership of the APC in the state.
