AGF Suspends Annual Xmas Carol In Honour Of Its Late National Coordinator
The foremost Tinubu group in Nigeria, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF has suspended its annual Christmas Carol programme earlier organized in honour of its late National Coordinator, Adeleye Akintola who died on the 7th November, 2018.
The Foundation always celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in an annual Xmas carol programme to commemorate the philosophy of its Principal; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by giving out gifts and other valuable items like he (Tinubu) always does.
But the programme has been suspended this year in honour of the late National Coordinator of the Foundation.
In a statement released on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Adeboye Adebayo in Ijebu-Ode, the foundation noted that this year Xmas carol program has to be suspended for obvious reasons.
“We have suspended all the activities of the Foundation including the annual Xmas carol program in honour of our late National Coordinator, we are still in shock about his sudden death and we are currently preoccupied by the efforts to stabilise the young family he left behind” Adebayo noted.
According to him, the National Executive Council meeting will soon be convened by the National Secretariat of the Foundation where every other issues on the operation of the Foundation will be discussed and mapped out as 2019 general elections approach.
He then thanked all those group of people, individuals and concerns persons that contributed to the burial of the late National coordinator and those stood and still standing by the family at this critical and difficult time, praying that God in his mercy will continue to be with them, strengthen and bless them.
