The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District and governorship aspirant on the platform of APC, Senator Babajide Omoworare has congratulated the Governor-elect of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi on his electoral victory.
Omoworare in a congratulatory message by his media assistant, Tunde Dairo and made available to CityMirrorNews in Ile-Ife, applauded the people of Ekiti state for correcting the wrongs of the past and returning the state to its original progressive fold.
He noted that people of Ekiti have used the power of vote to return Fayemi to office so as to continue his developmental programmes that was unduly interrupted in 2014.
“It is noteworthy that Ekiti people have chosen the progressive alternative provided by the APC to rework the state and return it to the path of peace and progress. I must congratulate the people for this rational, decisive and progressive decisions”. Omoworare said.
He howeverongratulated the Oshiomhole-led APC executives for the victorious first outing which he described as a good sign and positive development which will herald other greater victories.
He charged the party to deploy same spirit of excellence, merit and victory as they approach Osun 2018 Gubernatorial election.
Omoworare urged the governor-elect, Fayemi to justify the confidence reposed on him by the electorates and do all within his power to return the state to its progressive lane and ensure that good governance become a norm.
