Trump Fires Secretary Tillerson

The United States President, Donald Trump has fired the United States Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson.
Mr. Tillerson, a long time associate of President Trump was in Nigeria yesterday where he met President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Tillerson promised that the United States will continue to partner with Nigeria on security and economic matters.
He expressed sadness over the abduction of 110 girls at a technical school in Dapchi, Yobe state recently and promised that US will support every effort aimed at rescuing the girls.
However, Mr. Trump said that he and Tillerson have been discussing the issue for sometimes and that Tillerson will be replaced by Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Chief, Mike Pompeo. He thanked him for his service to the nation.
