Osun TUC, ACSCN Felicitate With Members On New Year 2018

The leadership of the Trade Union Congress and the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria in Osun State has congratulated members on the New Year 2018.
 In a statement by its chairman, Comrade Adebowale Ademola,
the  union congratulated the TUC members across the state for surviving 2017 which was full of challenges.
 He also commended them for their sacrifice to the financial situation of the state noting that 2018 will be a year of peace and surplus.
 “Fellow comrades, we have concluded a phase in the course of our demands, we are now moving to the second face of implementation of the agreement which is very crucial. We shall continue to count on your support to attain the restoration of our full salary, payment of arrears, pension and other emoluments, promotion of all workers etc. Together we shall get our dues from the employer (government). We are optimistic that the government will fulfill it’s side of the bargain but IF their are signals of breach on their part (government) we shall not hesitate to use our ever potent arsenals.”
“I encourage us to be steadfast in our respective duty post and refrain from things that could affect us as employees but defend the respective institutions we are engaged to protect. Like the saying “soldiers go, soldiers come, barrack no dey go anywhere” we have a crucial role to play in putting Osun in its place of pride amongst committee of states in Nigeria.”
The Osun TUC Chairman however urged his colleagues to be more professional in the New Year as his leadership will continue to fight for better conditions of Service for them.
“The leadership of ASCSN and TUC under my Chairmanship will continue to move fflor better working conditions for Osun workers in consonance with best practice through constructive dialogue with all stake holders in the work environment.”
