The Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Osun State, Mr Adelani Baderinwa has stated that the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola has succeeded in delivering the dividends of democracy to the citizenry.

According to him, the history of the state would be incomplete without making reference to the giant strides of the present administration in developing the state.

Baderinwa who stated this while receiving members of E-Progressive Group, a team of All Progressives Congress Youths who promote the party on social media in his office said the laudable achievements of Aregbesola is enough to credit his election for 2 terms.

His words “We have not been lacking in the pursuit of our goals; what we are working on (the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola) is already a success story. There is no how anybody will write the history of Osun without giving ample attention to Aregbesola’s achievements and administration.

“It will amount to foolishness to attempt to rubbish or not acknowledge Aregbesola’s achievements and that is why the oppositions are making noise on nonissue and they are always getting it wrong.”

He however urged members of the group to support the quest of having a worthy successor for Aregbesola’s legacies to be sustained and continue his developmental agenda for the nooks and crannies of Osun.

Mr Baderinwa pledged his support for the group’s programmes so as to realize the task ahead.

The Osun Information and Strategy Commissioner explained that “We must be part of history by ensuring that Aregbesola hands over to another progressive governor. We have never had in the history of the state for a progressive governor to handover to another progressive governor.

“We must work to make sure that there is transition of state power from Aregbesola to another progressive governor. That is the task ahead. I will support and motivate the Progressive E-Group for efficiency and to be proactive.”
