Leading the prayers in Ilesha,  Mufashir of Osogbo, Alh. Moruf Ishola, who also delivered a special sermon at the Fidau programme, said death was part of the process of life.Ishola said though the demise of a loved one could be painful, but we as humans must understand that the death of our aged should be seen as a stage of transition to glory but not of sorrow.

Mr Kabir Aregbesola, the son of Gov. Aregbesola, in his own Quranic recitation and speech, said death was inevitable and no human can escape it.

Aregbesola said humans, when we go to sleep, our souls are taken by God and that  those that wake the next day are those who God return their souls back into their body.

He said the death of their grandmother was a shock to them because she was in good health, but God knows best and that his will alone will prevail.

The programme ends with prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased and for God to uphold and preserve the lives of those she left behind.
