According to Dr. Adeyemi, those threatening his life are: “Barristers M. A. Laogun, Ayanyemi, Akintayo, Niyi Akinsola, A.A Laogun, Pastors Joseph Ikutanmoni, Paul Usman and the Apostolic Church of Nigeria.

A letter, written by Mr. Adeola Olatunji of the Supreme Court  and made available to news men in Osogbo, Osun state capital, stated that Dr. Adeyemi bought two plots of land through Barrister Laogun, who claimed to be the solicitor to the owner{Dr Charles Oluokun} at the rate of N1million in 2010.

The letter stated further that Dr. Adeyemi was prevented to work on the land by one Alhaji Moshood Akintayo Adesina, Pastor Joseph Ikutanmoni and Muritala Adewale, who told him that the land does not belong to Barrister Laogun’s client.

“While this was on, the Apostolic Church, Temidire Estate, Osogbo claimed to have bought the same land from Alhaji Moshood Akintayo Adesina in June 2011. According to the letter, Alhaji Adesina and Adewale collected another N900,000 form Dr. Adeyemi with a promise to refund  the N600,000 paid in June 2011by the Church back to them.

“Our client eventually discovered that one Dr. Charles Oluokun, who is presently in USA owns the land with Certificate of Occupancy dated 31st July,1989 which Alhaji Moshood Akintayo Adesina later sworn to an affidavit in High Court that the said land belongs to Dr. Charles  Oluokun.

According to the letter, the right owner of the said land, Dr.Charles Oluokun, issued a disclaimer letter against Barrister M.A. Laogun and those claiming to be his agents, while one Alhaji Muritala Adewale later confessed in his statement made to the police that the Pastors Paul F, Usman, Joseph Ikutanmoni and Barrister Niyi Akinsola gave him N70,000 to demolish the house built by Dr Charles Oluokun before he travelled.

It stated that since the owner of the land went to court for demolition of his building by The Apostolic Church and their agents, “our client has been called with several GSM numbers, warning him to leave the state or else, he and his family will be dealt with. Besides this, Barrister Ayanyemi and Akintayo, being the staff of Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP in Osun state, had openly boasted that the prosecution will not see the light of the day and that the DPP will take over the case and jeopardize its reasonable conclusion.
