I Exhume Skulls from Graves in Return for N10,000 – 72-year-Old Man Confesses
A Septuagenarian, Idris Ajao, has been arrested by the Osun state police Command for allegedly exhuming human skull from a cemetery in Iwo, Osun state.
Though, the suspect did not deny the allegation, he said, “mistake has no master.”
The suspect who claimed to be a bricklayer, confessed that a herbalist, Tajudeen Jawesola, sent him to exhume skulls from graves with a sum of N10,000.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye said police detectives got the hint about the atrocities of Ajao and trailed him until he was caught with the skull.
“It was Jawesola that asked me to get the human skull for him. Everybody knows Jawesola to be herbalist and he wanted to use the human skull to do his work. He said he would give me N10, 000. I should not have listened to him. It is a mistake”.
Police are still on the trail for Jawesola
Meanwhile, the 73-year-old suspect confessed that he has been arrested for the same offence in 1989, saying “my children are in Port-Harcourt.
