An Osogbo based industrialist, Alhaji Gasali Owolabi has charged government at all levels to create empowerment programmes and promote entrepreneurship for the teeming youths of the country, saying that governments should focus on programmes that will ensure that the youths are self reliance, rather than seeking for white kola job.
Alhaji Owolabi who is the Chairman, Kasmo Group of Company, also urged the governments to encourage private business owners, who he described as great contributors to the economy of the country.
According to Alhaji Owolabi, there was need for entrepreneurship training for every youth in the country for reorientation on how to be self employed instead of looking for unavailable employment.
Owolabi stated that government should consider the private business owners in their relief package in order to alleviate the suffering of the masses as they played major role in reducing unemployment and largely contribute to the economy.
While speaking on Kasmo industry and its products, Owolabi disclosed that the industry has over 125 workers on its pay role and produces Kasmo soap, T.J Herbal mixture and services including AlGazali Travel Bureau among others.
The Business mogul stated that the establishment of the Kasmo Group of Companies was borne out of the passion he has for the empowerment of people in his community and Nigeria at large.
Owolabi noted that he had been dreaming to establish his own business since he was 10 so as to be able to give people a means of livelihood.
He, however, enjoined Nigerian youths to change their orientation about looking for white kola job, instead, they should be thinking of how to be self sufficient.
The Osogbo born businessman also urged the youths to be thinking of what they can do to assist the country and stop thinking of what the country could do for them.
Speaking on the state of  Nigeria’s economy,  Owolabi attributed the abysmal condition of the country’s economy to greediness and self-centeredness on the part of  Nigerian leaders.
He called on all political office holders in the country to put in mind the interest of their followers in policy making, just as he charged them to eschew themselves from any act capable of further plugging the country into both economic and political crises.
Owolabi prayed for the economic stability of the country, just as he implored every citizen of the country to always pray for the success of President Muhammadu Buhari.
