Breaking News: DSS Invites James Faleke, Audu’s Son Ahead of Bello’s Inaguration

The Directorate of State Security in Abuja has invited James Abiodun Faleke, the running mate to the late governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, Alhaji Abibakar Audu and Mr. Mohammed Audu for questioning.

Information has it that the invitation was not unconnected with the upcoming governorship inauguration of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello who replaced Audu in the rescheduled governorship election won by the APC, and the need to ensure peace and order before, during and after the inauguration

Faleke’s invitation has been confirmed by the Director of Media and Publicity of Audu/Faleke Campaign Organization, Hon. Duro Meseko saying the-the campaign organization was yet to come to terms with the invitation at what he called, “a critical period in the struggle for the Lugard House through constitutional means”.

Meseko said Faleke is a staunch believer in the rule of law and has decided to pursue his case through legal means. He expressed confidence in the non-partisanship of the DSS.

Faleke who is a second-term House of Representatives member was the running mate to the late Prince Abubakar Audu. The late Prince Audu died before the governorship election was concluded in the state.

Faleke has been consistently affirming that he was the right owner of the mandate given to him and the late Prince Abubakar Audu. He argued that the election of November 21, 2015 was concluded and that a winner had emerged.

But contrary to Faleke’s position, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress presented Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello to INEC as the replacement to the late Prince Abubakar Audu on the strength that the latter came second in the party’s governorship primaries.

Also, it was alleged that many support groups in the state are threatening violence if Faleke was not declared winner of the election, a situation which might have prompted the DSS to invite him for questioning as the January 27 inauguration date draws by.

It was gathered that Faleke arrived at the Headquarters of the security organization at about 10.00am this morning and has not been released yet.

Haba Alhaji, what is this country tunirng to. you too have started working for Phrank Shuabu and his Echocho politics without limits. this boy was one of his hatchet men who did his dirty jobs of attacking and blackmailing the family of the governor. first,he is not a journalist (have you ever read any article written by him), two, he is a liar who was made to believe that there are not internet defamation laws in nigeria. find out the facts behind this case and you will see that he is lying about being victimised for open letter. he has gone back to his page to delete his defamatory posts with glee and is basking in his new found fame based on lies. i hear evidence of all his attrocities including his attack on some members of the governor’s family are there and are with the police. we should commend the members for reporitng to the police not castigate them. i saw phrank’s hand, when you said 13 out of 25 people impeach the speaker, have you seen the number of signatures for the impeachment?dont listen to newspaper reports that are sponsored by the likes of phrank.the governor has a plan which he is executing. lt is unrealistic to expect lokoja to be transformed in 10 months. the was a lokoja reurbanisation plan that was being implemented before the floods set in. if people like you start to play politics with the truth, then our country is truly doomed.
