APC Chieftain, Prince Adeshina Olasupo Donates Items To Newspaper Vendors In Osun

PHILANTHROPY: APC CHIEFTAIN, PRINCE ADESHINA OLASUPO, DONATES ITEMS TO NEWSPAPER VENDORS IN OLORUNDA NORTH

As part of efforts to support small and medium-scale businesses in his territory, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Adeshina Olasupo, has donated several canopies and chairs to newspapers vendors located at strategic locations in Olorunda North axis of Osun State.

The distribution exercise commenced on Thursday, September 22, at Biket junction in Osogbo, where a vendor received the items at no cost.

According to the donor, the gesture is aimed at enhancing the business operations and activities of newspaper sellers, who are stationed in high-traffic areas across Olorunda North LCDA. Canopies and chairs provided by the influential community leader would ensure visitors to these reading points have a conducive and comfortable environment to flip through pages of tabloids.

Prince Olasupo, fondly called PSO by his teeming followers, was among several aspirants who recently contested for the APC chairmanship ticket in Olorunda North.

The philanthropist noted that politicians must learn to support their people at all times and not only when they seek votes.
He observed that the role played by newspaper vendors is crucial in keeping people in the area updated about events and happenings across Osun and Nigeria in general.

While encouraging other well-meaning individuals to contribute to the development of Osun, Prince Olasupo stated that the task of achieving a greater and better society must not be left to the government alone.

“I wish to remind the good people of Olorunda North that I will always do my best to enhance their well-being. By God’s grace, we intend to roll out other programs geared towards making life better for people at the grassroots,” the APC aspirant stated.
